Responsibilities:

  • Train as entry level machinist by performing fast passed value-added work
  • Operate CNC saws, mills, lathes, and tie rod threading machines
  • Deburr and wash a wide variety of machined components for final assembly purposes
  • Use fabrication tools such as: grinders, belt sanders, drill presses, and lapping machines
  • Assist other manufacturing processes as needed: Assembly, Paint, Weld, Shipping
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area & equipment
  • Works under general supervision and work is subject to inspection and check
  • Work from drawings and specifications; use required precision measuring instruments and gauging devices

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Work requires technical skills and precision work
  • Attention to detail and ability to read a ruler/scale
  • Ability to be flexible and open to a wide variety of tasks and provide support as needed
  • A desire to work in a small team-based environment and contribute immediately
  • Must be self-reliant and ready to work on all aspects of the position
  • General knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions required in a manufacturing setting
  • Should have a demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, changing work environment
