Job Purpose:

- Identify potential gaps in our supply chain and work to close those gaps through dual suppliers where necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years progressive planning/scheduling and or buying experience in a manufacturing atmosphere

- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with employees and management

Responsibilities:
- Analyze past and planned materials usage and set appropriate stock levels in our ERP
- ERP Superuser across Supply Chain team to assist others in finding and pulling data needed to make decisions
- Oversee shipping/receiving and material handling employees in the plant – set processes, audit processes and enforce processes across these areas
- Maintain inventory of packaging supplies
- Maintain process for receiving and distribution of non-inventory items
- Work with Nopak plant supervision and engineering teams to set material flow locations and rules within the plant and assist in auditing and enforcing those rules
- Communicate with purchasing staff to ensure needed materials are purchased on a continuous basis and documents such as confirmations are stored with appropriate information entered
- Develop and manage logistics relationships with material suppliers as well as outbound to customers
- Develop and implement an inventory cycle counting program across material handling team and put in corrective actions and process improvements to maintain accurate inventory
- Ensure material handling team pulls daily parts orders and stages daily materials at machines and assembly to efficiently maximize production to planned schedule
- Manage daily and weekly shipping numbers and communicate with staff
- Manage and document scrap material process to ensure inventory counts are accurate

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations or other related field
- 3+ years experience in materials management, planning, logistics and supply chain analysis
- Experience building functionality within an ERP system, particularly in supply chain, planning and shipping/receiving functions
- Proven ability to collect and analyze data in order to set appropriate stock levels for materials
- Ability to communicate diplomatically and tactful with employees across a spectrum of skill and experience levels
- Patience and foresight to help team master foundational processes before building more significant processes and skills

- Program all machining work centers using MasterCam and manual programming techniques for all CNC equipment

- Evaluate improvement potential within CAM software to optimize efficiency/accuracy and recommend improvements
- Manage all CNC program libraries for most current/accurate version
- Manage DNC Predator system for program uploads, verification of accuracy, and overall system update to latest version
- Manage all CNC controllers to ensure program consistency and that programs are not kept in CNC controls, with Supervisor support
